Caroline brings to Zealmark a huge range of experience having worked within the Health and Disability Sector, Youth sector, Creative Arts Sector, Non-for Profit sector, Governance Boards, Music Industry, Training and Development, as well as studied Small Business Management, Business Development and Relationship Management. Caroline has a great passion for developing people, a passion that began earlier on with her development of highly interactive empowerment Youth programs in South Auckland to encourage at risk youth to achieve. Her passion to develop people has seen her expand her training and facilitation skills to include Customer Service, Health Provider Responsibilities, Health Consumer responsibilities, Consumer Safety, Informed Consent, Conflict Resolution, Complaint handling, Effective Communication Strategies, Empowerment Advocacy, Self Advocacy, Sales, Coaching and Mentoring and Effective Presentation skills. Caroline has been on Governance Boards of several organisations assisting them with Strategic Direction, Business Planning, Organisational Management, Marketing, Policy development and Funding strategies. These boards have included YWCA, Freedom Zone Youth, Canopy Youth and Unit2go Trust. Two of these trusts, Caroline has directly set up. Caroline’s extensive experience as an advocate has seen her offer consultancy advice on relationship management and conflict resolution to professionals throughout the health and disability sectors. In her spare time, Caroline manages a local band, organising gigs, concerts, local marketing events to promote the band and their music. This has recently seen them go to the UK and USA and attain television performances to further promote their music. Caroline also offers small business management advice and support to artists setting up professionally.
