Grant Shields

Grant has worked in the training and development environment for the past 6 years delivering a range of training initiatives within the areas of customer service, retail management, team development, sales training and call centre training throughout New Zealand and Australia.

Grant is passionate about delivering training in an interactive, all inclusive manner, involving participants throughout the learning process, encouraging them to challenge themselves and to stretch their scope of knowledge.

Grant recognises different learning styles and adapts his approach to ensure maximum learning potential is reached.

Grant has had extensive management and sales experience throughout various industries. He has successfully held management and sales roles in retail, wholesale, insurance, home and leisure, extended warranty and training development.

Grant also has experience within the Australian Quality Training Framework having successfully set up and run a Registered Training Organisation based in Melbourne Australia.

With over 25 years ‘real life’ experience in management, sales and training Grant has amassed a plethora of stories, anecdotes and workplace scenarios that he can quickly draw upon to give clarity and relevance to the techniques and information he presents.

Grant provides Zealmark Group with that ‘real life, from the ground up’ experience often lacking in today’s web savvy and ‘buy the book’ world.
