Rationale:
The ability to implement strategic planning initiatives and deal with the evitable process
of change that businesses are faced with are essential competencies for all levels of management
and leadership. Inevitably where there is a lack of awareness or ability in applying the
principles of strategic planning to a management or leadership role, there will be a deficit
in the performance of the respective teams or department. Many organisations that lack a
competitive edge within their industry or market have an inability to strategically plan
or manage required change.
