Rationale:
If there is one thing that most people agree on... it is that the pace of life seems to
be getting faster and more demanding than ever before. In considering this opinion, it becomes
difficult to comprehend why? When we are living in a world of time saving and convenience
technology designed to make things happen quicker, more easily and efficiently.
Surely, as we surround ourselves with this latest technology and equipment we are bound
to feel more relaxed and in control of meeting the demands set upon us in our respective
careers. Well, unfortunately not! In reality this very same technology and equipment has
created new expectations within the professional and business environment that demands quicker
and more efficient responses, deadlines, levels of accessibility, accountability and service.
This workshop will look at our unpleasant, unwanted inner reaction to events and demands
in our lives, which, if left to build up, will affect our health, work performance and relationships.
We will look at changing both behavioural and mental reactions in order to minimise the "negative
stress" we experience.
Who Will Benefit?
Those organisations and individuals who wish to be proactive at preventing or reducing stress
within the workplace.
What are the Key Learning Outcomes?
This course is designed to enable participants to identify negative stress and learn
